Benefits This Turmeric Tea

Turmeric – contains an active anti-microbial compound called curcumin, when consumed regularly, curcumin works with natural killer cells to modify your body’s defense system. In simple terms, turmeric helps strengthen the cells responsible for getting rid of viruses and infections.

Ginger – contains anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-viral, properties along with a little bit of vitamin C. Adding ginger to your turmeric tea increases it’s benefits and makes it even stronger in boosting your immune system.

Lemon juice – has a ton of vitamin C which is essential when it comes to strengthening the immune system and getting rid of viruses. Just 1 medium lemon has 50mg of natural vitamin C, that’s nearly 75% of your daily recommended intake amount.

Lemon peel – also contains a good amount of vitamin C along with antioxidants that helps reduce oxidative stress. Reducing oxidative stress is important because with high levels, you can experience inflammation and tissue damage.

Black pepper – helps activate the curcumin in turmeric and makes it over 2000% effective.

Cayenne – are very similar to lemon juice when it comes to the amount of vitamin C they contain. Additionally, cayenne pepper contains other essential immune boosting nutrients like vitamin A, improves collagen production, and helps your body absorb iron.
