If you want a salad recipe that is packed with nutrients, you need to try this healthy kale detox salad! I’ve been making this kale salad for a while now and it’s absolutely delicious. Filled with vitamins like A, B6, C, K, folate, fiber, carotenoids, and manganese, kale is also an alkaline vegetable.

Healthy Kale Detox Salad + Dressing Recipe
I tried different varieties of this salad recipe and altered it by adding other nutritious vegetables like mint and onions which made it go from good to great! I totally urge you to always experiment with your recipes, you never know what magic will happen!
Ingredients for 4 servings: Preparation time: 20 minutes
- 2 cups of fresh kale leaves (chopped or shredded)
- 2 cups of broccoli florets (chopped)
- 2 cups of red cabbage (thinly sliced)
- 1 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 medium avocado (diced and thinly sliced)
- 1/2 cup of raw walnuts (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 1/2 a medium onion (thinly sliced)
- 10 mint leaves
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 1 medium carrot (chopped or grated)
Kale Detox Salad Dressing Recipe:
- 1 tablespoon of organic olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons of whole-grain mustard
- 1/3 cup of parsley (finely chopped)
- 1-inch fresh ginger root (grated)
- 2 teaspoons of pure maple syrup or organic raw honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
How To Make This Kale Detox Salad
To make your salad dressing, simply combine all of the salad dressing into a bowl and whisk together. Set it aside. In another bowl, add the bell pepper, cabbage, broccoli, kale, onions, green onion, carrot, sea salt, and mint.
Now add in the salad dressing and toss together until well combined. Finally, throw in the sesame seeds, walnuts, and avocados, toss lightly and serve immediately. You’re done!
